Leaving Florida

It was a surprise to see that everyone is leaving Florida.  It took over 6 hours to go 225 miles up to Georgia.

For those of you who wonder what it is like to drive a 45 foot motorhome, towing a Chevy Malibu, it is VERY intimidating.  Shout out to Judy and Mike, truck drivers are amazingly kind!

We stayed overnight at Coastal Georgia RV Resort, in Brunswick Georgia.  It was not coastal, but it was perfect for our needs.  We both had driven the motorhome, and we were both tired.  We had plenty to eat and drink (hooray for wine).  So we had an early night, and slept well.  Just a mention to our friend Tony Fiorello.  The big rig is very quiet, and very easy to sleep in, even with a queen bed and 2 cats!

We left Coastal Georgia RV resort at a reasonable time and headed up 283 miles to.... wait for it... South of the Border! Camp Pedro!  I know, what were we thinking.  But once again, the site meets our needs, pull through, cheap and an ice cream place. Yay!

Wow, we see truckers helping people with flat tires, helping control the insane traffic, always moving over for merging traffic. I am trying to watch them closely and do what they do (except changing tires)! I have a question for your hubby, Diesel gas sometimes has a yellow handle, or a green handle, what is the difference? And, what is the low sulfur fuel, do we need to avoid it, or get it?

Love the diesel pusher, no engine noise, power to spare, turbo boost when needed!

We are on our way to Syracuse NY. Hopefully my job will start next Monday!

We are in Virginia right now, my brother and his daughter are on their way over to visit!

I miss you too, but this is truly exciting!

Love, Ravonne
